Our Summer Camp programs have grown in the last few years. In 2018, we had more campers come to camp than we have had since 2004! As well as offering a variety of day and overnight camps for kids from Kindergarten through High School, we have launched ELITE (Emerging Leaders in Training Experience) to actively develop young leaders to serve in their churches and communities.
In the last few years, we have also become more than just a Summer Camp as we have developed programs for teens, adults, and families. Now in addition to our Winter Blast Youth Weekends and Fall and Spring Crafting Retreats, we are offering programs like monthly events for homeschooling families, and new retreats for Women, Men, and Young Adults.
And this fall kicks off our $2.5 million “Building the Kingdom” Capital Campaign to begin the process of updating our facilities. This campaign will fund the renovation of our swimming pool, the construction of new duplex cabins, and the renovation of the Mack Dining Hall.
And now our year round staff is about to grow too!
As a result of the increase in campers, retreat guests, new programs, and a desire to keep our facilities in the best possible condition, we are looking for a full-time Director of Maintenance and Grounds to join our team in March.
This person would oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities and grounds, develop and manage a comprehensive maintenance plan, supervise our summer maintenance staff, and coordinate with both service vendors and teams of volunteers.
